Sam Ravenna, the owner of A Beautiful Sound, has been providing the perfect soundtrack to couples big days since 2015. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Sam moved to Tahoe in 2013 in pursuit of powder days and an outdoor lifestyle. Not long after moving here, he started putting his musical talents to work performing at resorts, and discovered Tahoe’s thriving wedding industry. He started DJ-ing in addition to his acoustic guitar and singing and has been an integral part of over 200 weddings. In 2022, he began expanding, bringing on some of the areas most personable and professional musicians. Together, they create the ABS Team!

Tyler Stafford is a DJ, guitarist & singer based in Reno, NV. A long time songwriter and performer, he joined the ABS team in 2023 and has since been delighting couples and their guests with his ceremony & cocktail hour acoustic performances and high energy dj sets. While Tyler knows how to read a room and cultivate a musical experience based on the clients tastes, his tastes and acoustic style is rooted in folk, alt-country, and americana.

Cliff Porter is a DJ, drummer & singer based in Reno, NV. With decades of experience performing for sold out clubs and venues with his gospel/funk/rock bands “Jelly Bread” and “Full Blast”, Cliff has been also rocking weddings and special events with his incredible crowd pleasing energy, MC skills, and beautiful voice and musicianship. Whether it's behind a drum kit, microphone, or DJ decks, Cliff is guaranteed to provide a professional and high energy musical experience.

Joe Nash is a DJ, guitarist & singer based in Truckee, Ca. Joe impressed ABS owner Sam in a guitar class he was teaching at a local high school, and years later reconnected and started DJing weddings for the company in 2022. Joe’s friendly and professional attitude, musical prowess on the guitar and DJ skills are a sure bet for an amazing soundtrack to any wedding. Besides making couples happy with their own favorites, Joe loves RnB, NeoSoul and Hip-Hop Music.

David Brave is a DJ, guitarist & singer based in GA, CO and Hawaii. His pop/EDM touring act “Superpowers” has him traveling all over the world, and ABS is lucky to have him crushing it for wedding crowds with his incredible voice, guitar playing and DJ skills. A lifelong musician, trained opera singer, producer and songwriter, David and ABS owner Sam met at Berklee College of Music and have been collaborating live and in the studio since. David has a nac for reading rooms and providing the highest quality of dance parties.
